We had an incredible stay at the Sunset House in Jabal Shams. The host (Mr. Mousa) went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. When one of our cars broke down on the way, he personally came to pick us up and took us to the villa in his own car. After taking us to the villa located on top of the mountain, he went back, took the broken car to a mechanic, and had it fixed! Not only that, but he invited us for lunch twice and was constantly checking in to make sure everything was okay. His hospitality truly made our trip memorable. The villa itself was comfortable, well-equipped and super clean beds and rooms, and the stunning views of Jabal Shams added to the experience. Highly recommended!

The host was amazing, very helpful, guided us to make sure we didn't get lost and even waited for us to take us right to the house. But the location... This is an absolute highlight. In the middle of nowhere, quiet (except for the goats everywhere, which I love), no parking problems. The room was spacious, with a nice table outside to enjoy some fresh air and breathtaking views.
There is no WiFi, but the cellular network works perfectly.

When we arrived, we felt like we were at the end of the world. The house is very close to the Balcony Walk; it starts right behind it. The place is very spacious, with two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, the view is stunning, and you can enjoy it while resting on a super comfy lounge set. Make sure to either bring your supplies with you or have dinner and breakfast at the neighboring house. The food is basic but very delicious and authentic. The hosts were really nice. This is a perfect place to chill!

The property is located perfectly on top of the Jebel Shams. Weather is pleasant even in peak summer, with a small peak to climb within the property itself. And its very family friendly set up.
Third time staying here and we always love to come back! Super relaxed, very spacious, nicely integrated into nature and the surrounding. Everyone can relax and have fun, the staff is very friendly, and the location is perfect to explore the area. And the weather is of course amazing, huge difference in temperature compared to the rest of GCC.
I also love the fact that there is no wifi as it truly means an electronic detox, for adults and children alike, which we all desperately need.
Sama Heights was an amazing stay for our family. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. They were extremely helpful. I cannot wait to go back there again.

We made a last minute decision to over night in the area. The staff were very helpful and even upgraded our stay. It was a great experience there. The kids loved the play area too!
We got an upgrade from the basic room to a superior room with nice views. Comfy big bed. Seperate baby bed.
Breakfast and diner had a lot of variety.
By the way we were able to drive there with a normal sedan car, no 4x4 needed as long as the roads are dry.

Amazing location and so quiet. We stayed in a Mountain View Room which was absolutely superb. There is a nice play area for children. The buffet dinner and breakfast was very tasty and had a good selection of different foods. Highly recommended.
