Staff were great. The restaurant/bar had a cosy atmosphere and great outlook.
There is strong WiFi across the resort, which partly made up for lack of TV (rainy weather needs). Fishing off jetty was fun.
Facing the beachfront, Punga Cove Resort offers 4-star accommodation in Endeavour Inlet and has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace.

Such a comfortable place to stay in a spectacular location. We stayed as a group of 6, in two rooms. Everyone raved about how well they slept and how comfy the beds were and how beautiful the view from each room was.
The staff were exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our stay
I would highly recommend The Portage Resort.

Supposed to walk the QC track but our daughter fell ill and so we ditched the tent this section to stay here while her fever subsided the next day. It did not, so we stayed the next day, and the next day.... and eventually we had to give up walking the track at all. Spent our 4 days at Te Mahia and maybe that was a plan. It was beautifully peaceful and just a tranquil place. Accommodation is excellent, very comfortable beds, well appointed, everything you could possibly need, plenty of hot water, friendly owner, could not fault the place. Would come back with family to spend time here again. Easy to get the boat to/from Waterfall. Just an amazing view every day. Good walks up to the lookout where you can see for miles on clear days.
Located in Te Rawa in the Marlborough Region, 26 km from Picton, The Lodge At Te Rawa is accessible by boat only and features a barbecue and a private beach area.

What was there not to like about Don's place! Friendly, helpful, top notch knowledgeable host. The unit is spacious, warm, well equipped, immaculately clean etc etc but the VIEW... omg, the photo's do not do it justice! I thoroughly enjoyed my 5day stay & a big bonus was making friends with Woody, the handsome feathered resident ... :-)
(The weka signs on the doors made me chuckle but they really are inquisitive & daily visitors)
Thanks Don & Patrice for your wonderful hospitality.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The property is fabulous with the best hosts. Had so much fun fishing and playing with the dog Oscar. Would definitely recommend. Beautiful location, stunning luxury cabins amazing views.
