This was my second time staying here. The room had lots of space, was warm, and had windows on 3 sides. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and would always chat with you as you walked past. The location is great - a 10-minute walk into town and the gardens. Tea/coffee/biscuits were topped up daily as were the towels. Would definitely stay again!
Situated on the top level of the iconic building, 'The Hydro', this property is set directly opposite Dunedin's popular St Clair Beach.

The property looks newly renovated. Check-in and out was easy. All three rooms we booked were spacious and impeccably clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the location was convenient with plenty of parking available.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Loved this little upstairs apartment. Warm and Cosy. Perfect facilities for our family group, 4 adults and 1 infant. Baby gate for stairs was great. Julie was super attentive to our needs during our stay. Would stay again.
The price, for a perfectly functional and comfortable stay. Was especially happy thinking we were all in one room to find the kids had the lounge we had a room. It might not be the flashest but it was warm, comfy and affordable.
It was close to all the places we wanted to visit. It was family friendly with a kids playpark. More tan enough space. Equipped with everything you need.
A special place to get away, tucked away amongst ferns. Great for a couple or small family. The beds were super comfy and the loft is such a fun space for children. The deck is a perfect spot to unwind and look out to the water.
Staff is amazing and very nice! Great wee camp ground child friendly. Kids enjoyed it very much too.
Overall experience my family loved this campground and will be back.
We had a family apartment which was bigger than we needed, but it was the only room available. The loft style would be excellent for families with older children - quite a unique layout.
The location was absolutely amazing, beautiful views all day long and the sea crashing against the wall provided squealing delight from children and adults alike all day long. Close proximity to great restaurants and bars was a huge bonus and the kids loved the playground next door. Very child and baby friendly accommodation. So much character, so many thoughtful details on behalf of the owners. We couldn't recommend the entire accommodation more highly!
Very family friendly, which is a huge bonus when traveling with small children. A great amount of space, plenty of room for a portacot in the bedrooms. Will be our new regular accomodation choice when we travel.
