I recently stayed at the Quality Hotel Expo and my experience was generally positive. The breakfast service was particularly outstanding, with a varied and generous choice to suit all tastes. Very well equipped kitchen and common room, with terrace. The rooms are a bit small, especially the bathroom. It is however functional and the large common space made up for it. It takes about 45 min to reach the city center (from Kolkas with the T line - free 24h parking).

The family rooms are tight on space but you can make it work. The place is recently renovated and really clean. The staff gave us a lot of support especially when we were looking for public transport options to Oslo. The history of Emma Hjorth and what she did is fascinating. You not only get a nice, clean, affordable place to stay, it has a a lot of history.
