Really lovely cabin. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were lovely and helpful.
It felt homely and the value was very good considering the prices in Norway.
If I was coming back to Bergen I would stay here again.
Easy access to Bergen centre if you walk to the main road, go under the Subway and to the left there is a bus stop the 300 bus is regular and easy.
12pm check out time is nice to get sorted.
Overall the cabin was comfortable and cosy.
Cooking facilities were good enough for us.
Would thoroughly recommend this place especially if you don't want to stay in the city centre which I didn't. Was also lucky enough to see the Northern light a short walk from the cabin so this is why the location was so important to me (not guaranteed you have to know what you're doing or be lucky to see that.)

Amazing guesthouse in a very nice and secluded place. The host (and their dog) were super friendly and the overall atmosphere was really laid back. You can not think of a nicer view while sitting in a jacuzzi or enjoying the sunrise with a coffee. Also, getting there is part of the adventure. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautifully decorated and very spacious. Location just outside of Bergen (20 mins walk) and optimal for groups. Host was very pleasant and even kindly stocked the fridge with Coca Cola as well as various teas.

Really loved our stay. The red house is not super big but really cosy and has everything you need. Kitchen was well-equipped with many appliances and basic food stuff such as oil, herbs, coffee etc. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. If you like animals, this is the perfect place to stay. We had so much fun with the goats, cats and sheep! Besides this we really loved Osterøy. The island itself is really idyllic with lots of quiet, forested places where you can walk/swim, would definitely recommend it!
Friendly welcome (chocolate, coffee, fresh eggs from the farm)! The house is super child friendly. A big playroom for the kids (small kitchen, swing, pencils, stuffed animals etc). The kitchen is complete with all necessary supplies. The shower is fine. Kids can sleep while parents enjoy time downstairs (not so noisy). Animals on the farm and so many more toys (tractors, bikes, sand etc). The family is very nice and helpful. The hikes on the island are great (2/3 hour hikes with kids in carrier with great views as a result). Thank you!
