The location is set back in beautiful surroundings. Really enjoyed the amazing scenery and Serenity. 😍 Although, it was situated in a very remote area, the hostess was so accomaditng that it made our stay very enjoyable. We were treated like we were her family. She sorted out our train fares so we could go to the centre of Oslo. The best thing was that she took us to the train station herself to make our trip easier. There is no public transport nearby but the hostess made up for the lack of the transport.

It is a great location with a view, I think a car is recommended so you can quickly go to the nearby beach or mines when you are not hanging in the lounge. I loved the beds, in general there was nothing to complain about the room, as long as you don't mind a shared bathroom. Compared to other locations it was a very affordable stay. The breakfast was decent and fresh, the shared kitchen seems great. A spacious lounge is a nice way to spend your evening relaxing.

The building is older but clean, cozy, and guest-friendly. The owner was kind and talkative, and all the information on how to use the facility was sent to us a few days earlier through the chat on booking.com. It is an eco-friendly property located in a beautiful place, and as a bonus, we were visited by a moose in the evening. Don't expect luxury, but everything is described on the property's website, and if you enjoy nature, you will be satisfied.
