This is a very cosy B&B for a stay at the Dutch seaside. Margriet and Koos are the friendliest hosts you can think of. I felt at home there from the second I stepped over the threshold.
The room was spacious, light, and comfortable. AND it has a fridge, which I totally apprciate, especially in the summer.
Breakfast is served in a very nice dining room, and trust me: no one will ever leave this room hungry :). If you want, you can even pack something for lunch (lunchbags are provided) or take something up to your room.
Location is a bit off the center of Egmont, but a five-minute walk will take you to all the nice little shops, bars and restaurants there. And just a few minutes more will take you to the beach, the sea, the dunes and the lighthouse.
The B&B is situated directly at a bus stop, so it is easy to reach by public transport, plus you can make day trips to e.g. Alkmaar or even Amsterdam.
There is a bike rental in Egmont, too, so bike tours through the national reserve of the dunes, or to Alkmaar, or wherever are no problem. Maps of bikepaths are available at the B&B.
Located just 350 metres from the beach, Hotel Zuiderduin’s spa includes an indoor pool, 3 saunas and squash facilities. Its rooms have box-spring beds, satellite TV and a balcony.

The view was amazing and the broad balcony. Also the kitchen and its appliances were better than in most other comparable holiday homes. it was truly fun cooking at home while enjoying the scenery!
Everything as described- cute little apartment. Apartment is located very quiet although close to centre with restaurants, bars and supermarket. Beach is within spitting distance .Apartment is very lovey geared and endowed.

Amazing apartment, close to the center, perfect location. Nothing is needed as it has all the needs covered, perfect for not yo worry about anything else. Very spacious with big windows. It is fully functional and prepared for a perfect family trip.
It's a beautiful coastal town, the place is spacious with a decent kitchen and outdoor garden where you can have lunch. It was close to the bus stop towards Alkmaar. It was quiet in regards to car traffic, because it was in the back of the house. They had a small oven hidden in the cup boards but functional.
The staff was friendly. The were helpful and could speak german english and Dutch. I stayed there for a week with my wife and my 4 year old daughter. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach. Perfect distance for my daughter. Furthermore they had an free to use kids fun park. She could play with other kids while we could do something else.
Amsterdam and Alkmaar is easy to reach. We took the train to amsterdan from Heiloo trainstation. Its just a 10 minutes drive by car.
