Teresa was absolutely lovely—an excellent host. Our room was very clean and the bed was large and comfy. Teresa was also an excellent cook we really enjoyed her pasta dish! We accidentally broke one of the tiles in the bathroom during our stay and Teresa was really understanding and we really appreciated that. The wifi was also very reliable.

The setting and surroundings are lovely with the cabins and rooms in pleasant gardens. Merida is quite remote and peaceful. The range of activities offered was good, we particularly enjoyed the kayak on Rio Istian. The food was tasty and freshly prepared with generous helpings. Our room was clean, with daily cleaning offered. This place had lots of potential and if you are wanting to stay somewhere remote and away from the crowds then it is both.

The treehouse was a getaway into the jungle. It is in the middle of nowhere but there is something very magical about it. We were the only ones there besides the host and at night you could hear and see so many animals from your bed. The treehouse is very basic but if you go in expecting that it is perfect. There is cold running water and two USB charging ports but that's it besides the bed, mosquito net and hammock. The toilets are located down by the main farm but are clean and compostable. We would highly recommend staying here for a mini adventure!

A very cute family hotel where you feel at home. You can use the kitchen, watch your clothes and the family is extremely nice. They help me for everything: bus, boat schedule, scooter rent …facilities are simple but all you need and the location is great to move through the islands (but you need a scooter :) ) . You have a nice coffee 5min walk (cafe campestre).
I really recommend it!

Unique setting by the lake, view from living and bedroom areas, good kitchen facilities, as close to nature as it is possible to get, great helpful hostess.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Had an absolutely incredible stay! It is a family run business and everyone was super helpful and kind. Also, we had a few meals there and all the food was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice family, great relaxing place with a nice view, nice breakfast. The host and the family did everything to make our stay nice, they organized tours, taxis and a scooter.
Ryan’s Finca is an absolute gem, situated in lush garden at the edge of the Vulcano. Fantastic food and great vibe with super friendly people. Ryan and his team and family are incredibly accommodating and helpful. We got all information on all our activities from them and had the most amazing time. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
This is a 10 from the heart.
A very nice family, good food, great location.
During the night, you can enjoy a sky full of stars. In the morning, at breakfast , there was a group of howler monkeys very close to us. Sunset views are great as well.
The last bus from Moyogalpa to Merida leaves at 4.40pm and it’s a 2 hours trip. There is a sign on the left side of the road just as you leave Merida, the bus will drop you there. Otherwise, it’s a 20-30$ taxi trip.
You can have lunch and dinner as well, food was delicious.
Lovely family and very helpful and caring host. It’s amazing for staying in a quiet place with a view. To experience something you always need transportation (scooter, car, taxi) because the busses don’t go often and the road is not bituminized. There is also not many shops or restaurants in town. The food in the lodge is prepared freshly by the mum which makes it take a little longer but it’s delicious. They were all fun to be around, especially the kids.
Maykel and his family were so so hospitable. My room was incredible and comfortable, with a terrace overlooking the lake and volcano concepcion. The sunsets there are amazing! The food was delicious and affordable. Could not have asked for a better holiday experience in Ometepe. Thanks Jungle family :)
