A very cute family hotel where you feel at home. You can use the kitchen, watch your clothes and the family is extremely nice. They help me for everything: bus, boat schedule, scooter rent …facilities are simple but all you need and the location is great to move through the islands (but you need a scooter :) ) . You have a nice coffee 5min walk (cafe campestre).

Loki the dog was the highlight of Selvista. He came with us all the way up the Maderas volcano and was so sweet and affectionate, not leaving our side the whole way.

This place is a one of a kind gem in Ometepe. The food is amazing, the location is perfect (the lake is at the end of the lane if you want a quick dip) and it’s conveniently next to both shops and restaurants. The beautiful art that is characteristic of Lazy Crab is incredible, it made the vibe of the hostel relaxing and it was offset by the fireflies that are visible from the terrace in the evening. The owner was helpful, caring and was happy to share tips for the best places to visit on the Island. I will definitely be returning.

This accomodation is really beautifull, we really enjoyed our stay! It is in de middle of the jungle and the nature and concept is just beautifull.

We stayed there for 11 nights which already says a lot. We really liked the location. Super nice owner and family living there. Great breakfast for 130 - 140 Cordoba und close to good locations.
Very cute, calm place, You can also rent scooters from them and its within walking distance to a very good restaurant called Cafe Campestre. Really recommend this place if you stay on Ometepe.
(They even have a bunny as a pet that runs around freely and is very friendly. which was so cute!)
Perfect location on Ometepe. Staff are all a family and all lovely to chat to. Room very basic but as expected for the price. Easy to organise scooter rental with them, and also lovely breakfast in the morning for a small extra cost. Beautiful chill out areas with hammocks etc
Very nice hostel and super helpful hosts. It's a lovely family business and you can rent a scooter directly from the hostel. The price per night and the scooter rental are super fair!
Odelba was such a sweet and helpful host. She and her family run this hostel with so much care. They are available for any questions. Also, if you’re a Spanish learner, this is a great place to stay and practice.
I guess this place has to be your thing, but it was not for us. The family is very kind, especially the mother we liked a lot. The pancake breakfast was good and affordable, we recommend this if you’re staying here! The hammocks in the common area were very relaxing.
it’s absolutely gorgeous and located in the jungle at the base of volcan maderas. the owners and staff are beautiful and so helpful and will organise any tours for you or help you with anything you need. I also loved that there was a fully functioning kitchen. loved the family vibes of this hostel!
Fernando and his family were really friendly and great hosts. Everything is as described! He helped arrange a taxi from mayagalpo to his place which was a great service!

Such a stunning place! The owners and staff were really nice and helpful. We were able to milk the goats and take a tour to the nearby petroglyphs with one of the local guides. He was super knowledgeable and explained a lot about the history of the island. The house were whe stayed was really clean, well maintained and had super comfy beds. Perfect for a family or a group of friends. At the farm there are different animals and lots of space to explore, perfect for the kids. We loved our stay and will for sure be back!
Such a colourfull hostel and chill vibes! Lots of adventorous things to do on the island, but the hostel is also the perfect place for when you want to take a relax day and recharge. The staff (a local family) is really nice, good with English, and the breakfast is delicious! They have a bar and pool table which is fun. Can't wait to come back again!
