Outstanding staff, warm, hospitable, helpful. We had booked a tent but found it much too hot so we upgraded to a large two-bedroom house.

Very nice location! Great, helpful, friendly and informative owners! The rooms are nicely renovated. Simple but functional furniture, very comfy bed, large bathroom, spotlessly clean - shining white bed linen and towels! Has a small pool also. The garden is very nice. The dinner was great, breakfast was ample. All in all, it is a great location if you want to explore the area or you are just on the way to Etosha!
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Beautiful house with 5 bedrooms and pool. It started to rain when we got there. Our kids loved it as each slept in own room. We would like to go back there one day.
We stayed in Gabus Lodge for 2 nights and were very lucky to spend our Christmas Eve there. The place is magical, it's a big farm with many animals you can watch. The rooms are big and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were amazing too, we sat outside while looking at the animals in the morning. The most beautiful thing about the place is that an amazing family runs it. They are so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed staying there with our body and mind. Thank you so much
Beautiful place with a view over the waterhole. Joanna and Marcel are fabulous hosts and made us feel very welcome
Our 2 bedroom house was so spacious and we loved the way it was furnished and decorated
We felt welcomed into the family as Marcel, Joanna and the wider family joined us for dinner and around the boma.
Loved the layout, the location and the wildlife on the property. The horse ride was fantastic and the food was excellent. Run by a lovely family and super friendly and professional staff.
The facilities are new and functional. The property is well kept and the rooms clean and comfortable. It is just off the road so you don't have to detour to get there. The food was good and the hosts friendly.
Very helpful and friendly staff. The waterhole and the surronding forest bring lots of animals and birds close to the lodge. Our closest neighbors were a family of hornbills:)
Giel and Ansie were fantastic hosts, making us feel like family members. The rooms are cosy and equipped with everything you can possibly need as a traveller. The location is quiet in spite of its proximity to Otavi.
The lodge is located on a game farm with breath taking views next to a waterhole where wild life come to drink in the late afternoon. Our dinner (braai) was served under a starlit sky next to an open-pit fire. Breakfast was served on the terrace with sounds of bird song and other creatures in the bush. Both meals were excellent. It is truly a fantastic place to relax and hike in a wonderful part of Namibia. Thank you hosts for your hospitality and making this an unforgettable stay for our family!
