Great experience at Ohorongo Safari lodge, the staff Daniel and team didn't leave a stone unturned to make it the guests a warm welcome and excellent service during the stay, the rooms i rate "very good" as i think in summer time they may require aircon as it can get very hot, however i also understand the lodge is fully of grid on solar that aircons are a big impact on the solar system.
absolutely a + to visit and experience the true beauty of Namibia.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Very nicely decorated place, you can feel that African vibes everywhere. Chalet was very beautiful and cozy with all the modern conveniences in the middle of African savannah. We travelled without the tent but if you have one, the tent plazas are very nice as well each having their own running shower, toilet and outside kitchen. The donkey ride offered was so much fun as well thanks to our guide Donovan. I definitely recommend the experience.
Dinner was excellent, the staff extremely helpful and kind. Then there is an army of rock dassies / hyrax welcoming the guests at the arrival that was for us a funny surprise
Good new rooms. Bit spartan decorated, but hey then again very very affordable. Food good, staff friendly, nice facilities, definitely a place to recommend just outside Etosha …

You cannot get closer to nature, than having your morning cup of coffee in front of your tent, while springbocks and other game are passing by just a few meters away. Unfortunately we did not see any elephants, but that's nature. Strong recommendation to stay there for a couple of nights!!
We loved the decoration, the restaurant area, the staff, the and the property owner sisters. They were extremely kind and went beyond expectations to provide us with everything we needed, even bringing us on an excursion to Kamanjab to find the best meat and grocery store. Our kids loved walking around the very interesting property, taking a dip in the small pool and they even got a donkey carriage ride I to town! Thanks again to Ann and Wilna for everything!
Location was good, breakfast was good. The staff were exceptional, friendly fun and very accommodating to the extent of giving us a packed breakfast to allow us to leave early
We had a wonderful experience! Johann (the Host) and his family were incredibly welcoming and made sure that we had a great stay, including the best braai we ever had. Thanks also to Philmon, who always provided delicious food. At the end Johann also provided us with really helpful tips for the rest of our journey that we enjoyed following.
