Great accommodation, good sized clean room in a beautiful location. The most amazing view looking out over tea plantations. Really enjoyed the food- check if they are serving the curry buffet as it was excellent and we really enjoyed the range of breakfast options. A truly magical place, we had the most amazing stay. A unique small boutique hotel up in the mountains with stunning views, wonderful staff and delicious food. The manager, Eranda is so sincere and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. He took us on a walk to the waterfall in the grounds and we had a very informative talk about nature. Such a lovely man. I can't recommend Capoe House enough, it's the nicest place we have ever stayed.

This place was truly the best experience I lived in my 4 months in Sri Lanka. Haputale is incredible and the camping site is placed in a strategic point which has an incredible view over the hill country. To reach it you have to walk for 15 minutes in a gorgeous tea plantation. And the food… super delicious. Most importantly, the guys managing it are very friendly and were so nice to us. This place has the most amazing positive energy - from the warmth of the welcome to the number of birds that come to the feeder outside the bedroom window. The breakfasts were delicious and could be tailored to suit individuals; the dinners likewise. Sameera turned out to be an excellent guide and knowledgeable about the locale and nature. My massage was great and much needed after a hike ducking branches and hopping over logs. Lots more activities were on offer but my stay was too short to take up beekeeping, for example.
