Parasol Dore is a gorgeous gem of a villa, situated on a small and quiet beach near Dickwella. We loved the location, very quiet but within walking or short tuk-tuk distance to Dickwella and Hiriketiya when we felt like “opting in” to those other places. Most of all we loved the staff - everyone - made us feel at home in ways we could never have expected! We are so grateful we could stay here.

Mutu villa is fantastic. It is big enough, clean and the owners were super kind with us. Beeing able to use the kitchen and washing machine was super nice. It is also well located so we enjoyed a lot our days there.

I spent almost 3 weeks at this hotel, and if I hadn't had other travel plans, I would have stayed even longer.
The view from my balcony was simply amazing. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel's location is fantastic—directly on the beach and just a few minutes from all the beach bars and nearby restaurants. It's also within walking distance of Hiriketya Beach, although it's not as nice as Dickwella Beach.
The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They even organized a bonfire on the beach for me and my friends.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
What's not to like? Beautiful beach, perfectly swimmable and big Fun with body boards. Great Family room, big pool, authentic (if pricey) pizza on the Beach. And all that without anyone in sight... There's three hotels on the entre Beach, so even in high season it'll be a steal.
Location was absolutely perfect close to the beach and all the little restaurants and fun spots . Kingsley Hot Pot food was delicious and so reasonably priced. The family are so kind and welcoming I highly !! recommend this this homestay.
We loved how close to the beach this place is. The beach is very family friendly and a little less busy compared to the Hiriketiya Beach. The staff are amazing and looked after us extremely well.

Nimal‘s House was a fantastic place to stay for us as a family. We had a fantastic time exploring all the lovely beaches around (Dickwella, Hiriketya, Silent Beach…) and Nimal and his lovely wife were always helping us with transport and anything else.
The breakfast they are making is delicious and before we left we got a great lunch as a goodbye.
We can only recommend this place - especially for families with kids, because the well equipped kitchen and the nearby beautiful Dickwella beach, are making it a very special place.
Big nice and very clean room with outdoor shower. Big bed, very quiet, good nice and a beautiful and calm garden with some cute monkeys. The family is veeery lovely and take care of you and make you feel at home so fast. So affordable price for such an amazing place! The breakfast was amazing and very big, the coconut pancakes are lovely! Stay here when you come to hiriketiya!!
Very kind family who loves kids and organising tuktuk if you like, helping whenever you need it. Very good tea in the morning, you can order homemade breakfast and dinner as well.
Nice location, super near the Beach and the baby turtles if you want to see them! Two small shops just next to if you have need for some snacks or water etc. At the Beach there is also few comfy small restaurants. And huge plus that there is hot in the shower. Superb breakfast with fresh fruits straight from the lovely garden what the host has. Lovely family :)
Spotlessly clean house. We had a spacious room with a silent fan over each bed. Bathroom was small but proper. Very convenient communal tiny kitchen and dining area. Breakfast was delicious. The family is very helpful. Our little ones loved playing around the garden with their children. In the morning all the family gets involved in cleaning everywhere toroughly.
We really enjoy our stay at Helena’s. We had such a lovely welcome and all the family members were super nice. They took care of our babyboy so that we could eat breakfast. They washed our laundry and even came to Matara to bring one tshirt that we forgot.
