We liked everything about the place. Everything was new and extremely clean, and the kitchen had all the utensils, dishes and appliances you could ask for. We stayed a week with a toddler and cooked daily. Perfect location - on a quiet street but a short walk to two supermarkets, a 100 yen store and large pharmacy, and to Kyoto imperial palace and Nijo castle. We would recommend this to anyone, especially families with young kids, and will stay here again if we get a chance to return to Kyoto.

The whole experience was really good. The bed was big and comfortable with 4 pillows that was fluffy, especially compared to other hotels. Having alot of convenience stores nearby and the ability to wash your clothes at the hotel at any time during the day/night was really nice, you could also see wether the machines were being used or not on the TV. The hotel staff all seem to know good english and the check in/check out was really smooth, you can even leave your bags at the hotel ahead of time incase you arrive early. Sidenotes: The hotel is pretty central kyoto ish so it's really easy to travel to different sight seeing spots. *MUST TRY* Their bath/onsen was amazing. The water was just right in terms of how hot it was, The shampoo and conditioner made my hair the silkiest its ever been and the body soap smelled like a bruce which was really nice. Ended up going to the bath every oppurtunity i could pretty much instead of showering in the room. If i ever return to Kyoto then im definetly staying at this hotel again.

This hotel is a boutique hotel in an excellent location. Treatment by the staff was first class, from beginning to check out. We arrived hot and tired after walking from the train station (about 2.5 km away) and were immediately offered a cool matcha drink in their air conditioned lobby. We were quickly checked in, and sent to our room, which was a large room with a king sized bed with high quality bedding, as well as a comfortable small balcony to relax on. We had a wonderful bath room, a good sized closet, and all the amenities one would expect from a first class hotel. We stayed an extra night because we were so comfortable and happy there. Highly recommend.
