We were two families, total of 7 people with two elementary school age kids, staying for just a Saturday night to explore the five lakes by car. Our stay was perfect. Downstairs there is a lovely Japanese style dining/tea room, a living area with two sofas, a big kitchen with everything you might need, a huge bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs are the bedrooms and another toilet. The views from the bedroom windows were beautiful. Everything was very clean and in good condition. The town centre is a short walk away, as is the train station.

Great place. Staff could speak English with no problems which was great for an international traveller. We had a beautiful view of the lake and regretted that we stayed only for one night. Very good Kaiseki dinner served in your room. The room even had a private sauna. Will definitely come back.

This is a really homely hotel with a fantastic view of Lake Kawaguchiko from the hotel entrance and Mt Fuji from its observatory. My family enjoyed a different experience sleeping on tatami beds and showering at the public bathhouse. The younger boy was throwing tantrums in the lobby while we were going out for dinner as he was exhausted from an overnight flight; the hotel staff offered to drive us to the restaurant for free! The hotel is near Fuji Lake Hotel, which is one of the bus stops on the red Kawaguchiko sightseeing bus, making it really convenient to get around the lake ☺️
