The space was great for my family of 5 adults. The house came with a fully equipped kitchen + and functional bbq grill that we gladly used for the last night.
Property owners were also communicative and took the time to show us around which we really appreciated. Everything was clean and well maintained, the house was also warm amenities were well thought out.
Location was great too as it’s just a short drive (~15mins) from the supermarket and town area, perfect for families who are looking to cook in the house.
Overall I’d really recommend this booking!

Very nice and big apartment in the outskirts from Akureyri. Five minutes drive from city center and supermarkets. Nice, very spacious, spotless clean. As very very well described in the confirmation mail, the entrance is the the rear part of the house. Very easy to get in, great coat hanger and place for leaving wet shoes. Very spacious apartment, clean and big kitchen with lot of apparels, nice dining place, wonderful living room. Smart tv and superfast wifi.

everything - elisabeth was so friendly and helpful; place was cosy, peaceful and quiet yet close to town; breakfast was superb (amazing homemade granola and granola bar); homemade cookies were delicious!

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Big room, excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 1 night there in August 2024 and enjoyed it. The staff was responsive to our last minute request to get a crib in the room.
Very good location, easily accessible with all the neccessary ameneties. For a family with young children, the washing machine and dryer made a world of difference.

I liked the apartment was clean and fresh. We had access to hot tub, that was clean and easy to use. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Bathroom is big and the shower is very nice.
The pullout sofa bed was good for a teenager and a kid.
The cabin is in a great location. The upstairs was perfect for the kids. Having a BBQ and kitchen made it easy to cook our own meals. The kitchen table was perfect for the size of our family. We would absolutely stay here again.
Icelandair Akureyri was a refreshing and pleasant change compared to a couple of previous depressing hotels we stayed in on our trip to Iceland. The lobby is sleek and inviting. Our room was full of light and air. It was a proper family room with a separate area for kids: bunk bed + wardrobe. Breakfast choice was one of the best we had in Iceland.
The cottage has everything you might need and all the facilities are in good conditions. Shout out to the shower which is really nice! The cottage is really cozy but I would not recommend it to a family with a toddler or people with disabilities due to the very steep stairs that lead to the sleeping area. The location is really suggestive with an amazing view overlooking Akureyri. Very peaceful surroundings, downtown Akureyri easy to reach by car within 10 minutes drive.
