Hotel: clean, vibrant with nice rooms. Staff is extremely friendly and observant. The gym and pool are huge and modern. Breakfast was very good with many options. Depending on your booking, hyatt status, or willingness to pay for an upgrade - the lounge access is available from 5-7pm in the cafe. Allows you to order certain items on the menu at no cost. I would recommend.

Clean, comfortable, and very welcoming even when I arrived late. The "budget" room was perfectly set up, and really lovely to stay in. The beach is a short walk away, and there's also great restaurants nearby. I felt like I was a part of their family and community for a few days, and had such a great time here. The house is surrounded by a large garden where John, the owner, grows his own fruits and vegetables. I particularly enjoyed the fresh coconuts and the home-made chutney I got for breakfast. The room is beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail, and the whole house is very clean. I felt very comfortable throughout my whole stay. John is an excellent host who truly cares about the wellbeing of his clients. He is super forthcoming with any information you may need and helps where he can. That made me feel completely safe as a female solo traveler during my whole stay at White Butterfly.
