Beautiful homestay, great family loved my stay, host speaks very good French and English he is a guide so he can organize any tour you want, I was invited to a very special ceremony at the village temple it was an Honor and a great experience, while trekking the rice fields I was invited by a very man to his farm to taste fresh fruits Durian an passion fruit, and speak English to him so he could practice. If you have a motorbike you are within 30 minutes from great Waterfalls and the most beautiful village in Bali Penglipuran Village.

My stay at Green Vanilla in Sideman was by far my highlight of my trip in Bali. ( I’ve been to Bali a few times & opted to go to sideman to get away from the hustle & bustle ) & Green Vanilla couldn’t have been a safer haven for this! Not only was my bungalow absolutely dreamy, gorgeous, comfortable & perfect in so many ways, but it was by far the PEOPLE that made it! The most incredible team making me feel at home, loved & cared for, always going the extra mile & making an effort to connect with their guests. It felt like an incredibly safe space to just ‘be’! Another favourite element for me was the abundance of the land & garden & how pretty much everything you eat, or teas, coffee you drink is harvested from the garden. 🌿 Cannot recommend this place enough!! Value for money was by far the best of all my travels in Indo.

The location was absolutely astonishing - just next to the river, surounded by the rainforest, with very well kept gardens, dedicated place for yoga, a pond, a small farming area ... absolutely breathtaking! The place is cozy, away from the hussle of the city. The staff are kind and helpful. The food is delicious. It's the perfect place to get away and relax.

Beautiful place in sidemen! Walking distance from Sidemen rice field and to some good local restaurant. The food at the property is very good if you do not want to get out. The staff is so kind and drive me to some places as I couldn’t drive scooter myself. The room is fantastic, all in wood, I was just front of the pool. I didn’t want to leave!

2 modern rooms and one lovely wooden cottage. Nice pool; due to altitude a little cooler than elsewhere 👍 Nice breakfast, both Indonesian and continental. Possibilities for lunch and dinner that we can very much recommend !! The owner can recommend a driver and with him we had 2 interesting days 👍 All in all a great stay !
