Staff was very friendly and attentive. Many water sports and activities are offered, if that is your thing. Simple but delicious breakfast every day. The place was peaceful and beautiful. Although in a quieter part of Bintan, a diverse range of food options are available - there are many lunch and dinner options within Ten Rooms itself (tried the mee goreng which was delicious), relative to local prices it was slightly more expensive but still very affordable (less than $5). Then you've got the kelong seafood place a few minutes walk away with seafood fried rice for only $2, and a French restaurant next door which is pricier but still very reasonable ($12 for a very generous portion of shrimp pasta, cooked fresh and with heart). Overall, Ten Rooms shows that Bintan can be definitely affordable and enjoyable.

The resort is beautiful, the location of all the villas, activities etc is well thought out. It is great having bikes to use to get around the property easily. We stayed in a beachfront villa and it was lovely. We were very relaxed by the end of our stay. Being able to feed some of the animals there (rabbits, chicken and fish) was great fun.

There's another review on here that complains about a man singing a song at odd hours of the day, like 5 am. We heard this "singing man" too, it's the call to prayer from the local mosque and nothing to worry about. We did not find it a nuisance, we were already awake because of our baby.
The Trikora resort is a superb place. We spent few days during the Christmas holiday with family. The staff is really nice and friendly. We really had a fantastic time. It is a perfect place if you want to reconnect to nature. The beach is pristine and the swimming pool is fantastic. The food at the restaurant was great too. The Spa is fantastic too!

Beautiful place, very quiet, basic and simple, all you need to for break from the city. Great place for families, we went with a 2-year old and he loved it, the pools, the beach, the whole facility is very kids friendly. Staff was very helpful and so nice. Food was great.

The property is in a beautiful location and very safe for children to explore. The rooms are well designed and feel very homely. The breeze off the sea, keeps the humidity of the tropics down and the layout of the resort allows children to create their own fun whilst parents can relax whilst still seeing them from a distance.

The beach villas are very nice, comfortable and blend nicely in the landscape (natural material and furniture). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers beautiful views on the beach. The cuisine is freshly cooked with a good mix of local and western dishes. There are several activities available like kayak and paddle
