Facing the beachfront, Hotel San Miguel offers 1-star accommodation in Flores and has a garden, terrace and restaurant. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi.

My husband and I loved our stay at Hotel San Miguel! We hadn’t booked a room anywhere in Flores a few days prior to arriving and luckily San Miguel had a private room available. We were a little unsure how it would work to not stay on the Flores Island, and doing the tour to Tikal etc. but we can not recommend San Miguel highly enough! The family boat takes 2 mins to Flores and everyone is so friendly and so helpful. We got a WhatsApp number on check in and messaged the guys anytime we needed a boat and they wer available 24/7. We were able to get a boat to Flores at 4am to do our tour to Tikal with a company we had booked with when we arrived in Flores. The rooms are spacious and really clean. The showers are good and the guys did our laundry in under 24hours! Free coffee in the lobby is also a nice touch. We really liked staying on a 2 minute boat ride away from Flores, it was a fun mode of transport and felt like we were getting an authentic experience of the locals. We got the best of both worlds! Cant wait to return.

The room all in all was really nice, bed was comfortable, AC worked well and the shower had a normal "good" water pressure. We were a little bit disappointed as there were no hammocks on the balcony as described online.

I am so glad my child was not exposed in this hotel to the kind of party animal travelers that I witnessed in the more hip area of Flores! It was nice being able to control our own air conditioning. The owners are very nice.

The property had a nice view of the water, and the family running it was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the dorm very clean. Breakfast was available and was delicious. I also appreciated a lift in the boat back to the main island the following morning. There are beaches walking distance and much cleaner than on the main island so it was nice to have a swim as well.

Flores island is really tiny so it’s just 5-6 minutes walk from the shuttle drop off point (I love Petén sign) to the hostel. There’s a small kitchen with 4 gas hobs + fridge + coffee machine + clean plates and utensils + spices. Refillable water provided. The family helps to wash the dishes for us which is really nice. There are 2 shared toilets outside and a shower, and they’re clean. Bed was clean and decent but I didn’t have a good sleep because it was toooooo hottttttt in the room

I can say that it is one of the most comfortable hostels on the island of Flores. The staff is very helpful. I forgot my wallet with money, and the staff saved it for me and sent it to me where I am now. The design is interesting and fun. The prices of the tours are excellent. I would surely return

Family hotel, well located at the lake shore on the nice island. Friendly personnel, comfortable bed, lake view from the balcony. A lot of places to eat, small shops and boat excursions around. Almost hot shower in the hot afternoon (water heated by the Sun). Accept card payment, which is rather seldon in Guatemala. Help with local travels.
