We stayed in what seems to be the old house. Second floor with a view to the sea. The room was fantastic with traditional macedonian architecture elements, such as apparent wooden structure, superimposed double windows with painted glass and a wonderfull couch along the windows to enjoy the view. The breakfast is served on a terrace facing the sea and is really satisfying. The hosts are always present and ready to help and make sure everything is pleasing. The house is situated in the village ov Vyzitsa wich is calm and not to crowded, with a very authentic feeling as you walg along its streets. Not so many foreign tourists but lot of greek ones and the locals always present in a pleasant way. The village center is has many good tavernas with excellent food that is obviosly authentic as it has to respond to the need of greek tourists. Staying in Vyzitsa has many advantages such as being in the middle of the mountains with plenty of splendid hikes to be made -thorugh forests, olive and apple orchards and looking for splendid water springs - and cloes to other beautiful traditional villages such as Pinakates and Millies. Then if you want to go to the beacch you are close enough by car (or even by foot 1-2 hrs) to splendid beaches. We higy recommend the ones on the other side of the mountains such as Lampinou, Limnionas or Milopotamos.

Even though it's a little difficult to arrive if you have mobility problems, as you have to walk some minutes to arrive. The owners are wonderful people! Very generous and helpful! We will return! Archondiko Michael is a cozy little stone house full of charm and character. My room was small but had everything I needed and more, plenty of delicate details around the room. I was very kindly greeted by Thalia at the bus stop and then also met the owner. I felt at home and very welcomed in the town. Highly recommended for hikers and peace seekers!
