We had the whole bottom floor, which was spacious, and the views were amazing. There are a couple of little villages 10 min drive away which serve traditional Greek food, i would recommend going to. I would recommend staying here.

Great location in between Rethymno and Chania, right next to the lake. The house was spacious and nice with a great view.. It was fully equiped and I deeply regret we did not have a chace to use the huge bbq in the back yard. Stavros was a very helpful host and trully the price couldn't be any better. Highly recomended accomodation in a "strategic" location and a great value for the money we paid.

Stay here your entire trip if you can. The house and location are amazing at the edge of a tiny village in the middle of olive trees overlooking the sea. A few minutes drive away is lake Kournas where the family owns a Taberna. You can try their local food at great prices and you can tell they put their heart into it. They were so incredible friendly and treated us like family instead of dollar signs. They took care of everything and the little touches were amazing. We loved the experience, house, location and people so much we spent an entire night thinking of retiring here! Location: edge of a tiny village so very quiet at all times. House: new and modern with windows everywhere and automatic shutters in some rooms so it is blackout dark for a deep sleep. There is a washing machine amd it is a dryer as well. There are all sorts of kitchen supplies like panini press, coffee maker, expresso machine, electric juice maker, dish washer etc. Plenty of everything. Pool: beautiful. It is heated but at this time of year it isn't hot. Enough to swim if you are used to cooler pools but we did come in November so we understand 100%. The pool deck area is an Instagrammer's paradise. Seriously amazing in the day or night. Garden: the smell of Rosemary, the outside tables overlooking the sea across the olive trees.....amazing. Hosts: could not ask for better. They helped us check in early...we arrived at 10am! The house was being cleaned and we were going to wait in the car when he come to his mom's Taberna at the lake. She cooked breakfast for us and didn't charge us. They left a bottle of wine for us as welcome in the house. The next day we went for coffee and he wouldn't take our money. At the end he gave us a gift. Seriously good people. Overall: This is more than a place to stay. This is an experience. If you want to experience Crete hospitality at it's best in luxury then come here.

My family of 6 adults and one toddler spent a wonderful week at Panorama House. The apartment was comfortable with a fantastic porch and a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and the sea. The functional kitchen and washing machine, the air conditioning in each room, and the excellent wifi all made it an ideal place to do part-time work and hang out in the house. The location was perfect. Besides visiting nearby Chania and Rethimno, we were 15 minutes from nearby beaches and an hour from the southern coast. We swam in nearby Kournas Lake every day and enjoyed the local tavernas. Giannis, the owner of Panorama House, went out of his way to make our stay memorable by answering all of our questions about the house and the area. He was always accessible. There are beautiful hikes, both directly from the house or within an hour's radius. To sum up, highly recommended as a base to see Crete.

Location was great so easy to walk to the lake, rooms were very big with 2 balconies. Very convenient laundry right outside the room. Μιχάλης was a wonderful host carried all our luggage up to our room, even told us which taverna to eat dinner at and the best local beach to visit. We will be back for sure.
