The breakfast was incredible. There was so much choice, and the food was all really high quality. Moreover, the staff are all so polite, helpful and well-trained (some of the nicest hotel staff we've ever experienced). We were there for the hotel's last week of operation at the end of its 2024 season, so there was no dinner buffet. Instead, there was a set menu (but we could still order as much as we'd like from this), but this was still great quality. Our only wish would have been for it to include a few more traditional Greek dishes.
The room was great. We were in a Verdant Room (slightly bigger than their standard rooms). We would thoroughly recommend it. The bed was super comfy and spacious, and the bathroom was great, too. The only thing that could improve it would be more hooks from which to hang clothes.
The pools are amazing. We went in November, so it was a bit too chilly to swim in the outdoor pools, but the indoor pool was great - warm and relaxing but still big enough to do lengths. The gym was good - for anyone who knows how to be creative with their resistance training, the cable multi-gym they have still allows you to do a lot (this is coming from someone who has spent 10+ years working in the health & fitness space).
The location is also great, as the hotel itself is very close to Rethymno (if you like walking, it takes about 40 minutes to get to the Old Town). If not, it's a 10-15 minute drive.
Overall, it's a fantastic 5* hotel that we would recommend to anyone wanting to experience Crete in a bit of luxury. We will definitely return when we next visit Crete (which we will do, as there is so much to see!)

We were delighted to be offered an upgrade to a truly beautiful room with balcony overlooking the pool and a separate sun terrace . The breakfast was fresh and offered a wide array of choices and eggs would be cooked to your taste .

The room was extremely clean and the service was top notch. Maria ensured we had everything we needed, everyday. Loved the Villa and the hosts, who made sure that our stay was unforgettable! The Villa was spacious, clean and well functioning. The hosts were kind enough to wait for our late arrival and let us stay over the checkout time.
The apartment was well equipped, very clean, a pool and perfectly suitable for our family with two adults and two kids. The city centre was close, 10 minutes by car. What made our stay even more special, was the wonderful host Maria, that made sure we had everything we needed!

It felt so homi, private and quite, the sweaming pool was super fun for the kids especially; the kitchen was really comfortable and even have dish machine and a washin machine!! They thought about every little thing - we never had such a care feeling in all our travels like this amazing place!

Absolutely stunning luxury villa with the most amazing pool and incredible views. It’s just as good as it looks in the photos!! Very clean and well maintained. Beautifully furnished and decorated. It has everything you could need. We stayed her as a group of 9 (2 combined families) and it was perfect. We also had two young children with us and it was safe and secure for them too. 10/10 would highly recommend.
