Run by a very helpful and friendly family. Apartments are very wel kept and clean, with basic kitchen to cook meals, fridge to store food & drinks, etc. Nice pool shared between only a few apartments and with a special safe area for smaller kids. It's a quiet place with a beautiful view, uphill from several restaurants, mini-markets & the beach. Seems like a good place for young families. There's a bus to Corfu town a couple of times a day in summer months, but would recommend renting/bringing your own car if you're planning on doing some actual sightseeing or hiking.

We had a wonderful stay at Stefanos' place - Jo and all of the staff were so welcoming! We discovered that the restaurant is not like a typical hotel afterthought, it's a beautiful stand-alone taverna with lots of delicious options for lunch and/or dinner until late in the evening, along with breakfast the next morning. There is a stunning sea view from both inside the restaurant and outside, on the multi-level patio (the rooms are behind it, further up the hill). Speaking of the hill, it is a rather steep one! We discovered that after we picked up our rental car near the airport then drove the half hour to check out the place for lunch on the way to Kalami - we had to turn off the air conditioning for our little Peugeot 208 to make it up the driveway. :-)

Everything was perfect! The hotel is located at the heart of barbati, right next to the beach , shops, restaurants, night life etc. They serve an amazing breakfast and the stuff is very helpful and polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!!

I loved it how the house owner was always available, texted back immediately and could help me with anything that I needed. Aditionally, the location was amazing: situated 2 min away from all the restaurants, and 5 min away from a grocery store, bakery and the beach. Meanwhile the town is pretty small and thus very quiet. The beach, due to its location far away from the street is also very relaxing. Also, every studio apartment has a balcony from which (and also from the bed) you have an amazing view over the whole town of Barbati and also a gorgeous view over Corfu bay and you can even see Albania on your left.

Location is perfect. Barbati beach is the best spot on the island. We traveled with three small kids and the kids shared a room, each had their own bed (pack and play was provided for the baby). House cleaning came once a week. The proximity to the beach is superb. Quiet garden and gated community. We were there mid April- mid May and it just began to get busy in mid may. It felt very private, safe. Alice was a great host, checked in a few times and was always ready to help and answer questions. Such a sweet spot and we were sad to leave! Plenty of towels. Kitchen was easy to use. We had each meal outside on beautiful patio. Perfect area for kids to explore. The pool a block away was free to use and that was a bonus. Lunch is good in that spot as well! The smell of flowers was all over and so nice!

our stay was amazing. jenny the host, was nice, organized, kept everything super super clean and maintained for us. the location is just perfect on an almost private beach if you will. the house had everything from juice, fruits, water to mosquitoes anti bite and after bit the house is just a few steps from a beautiful beach and a few more steps from just best restaurants. i highly recommend and will defiantly come back.

Vasiliki and Nikos were superb hosts. We arrived by rental car and met Nikos and Vasiliki who gave us the keys. Vasiliki was always available by phone and Nikos works in the Nautilus beach bar down from the property and was always happy to help if we had any questions (or needed a drink!). The property itself is really great. On arrival it was extremely clean and we were surprised that all basic items were there (from cooking things like oil / salt / pepper / coffee etc to cleaning products / dishwasher tabs everything you needed to start). The property has everything you need in terms of facilities like cooking / BBQ / washing etc, it is a home away from home. Wifi is good enough for streaming etc. The 3 bedrooms are a good size, the bed I stayed on was perfectly comfy and the air con worked as needed. The property is up the hill and we had a rental car which is recommended as walking down to the beach is fine but walking up would be difficult in the Summer. But to compensate for this you are rewarded with a spectacular view of Corfu. We used the main veranda a lot for family meals etc and this was wonderful. The area you are in - Barbati - has a great beach, it wasn't too busy or touristy when we were there (end of June). There are plenty of bars / restaurants / supermarkets. It is a great location to explore other parts of Corfu as the popular touristy areas / beaches are within an hour drive. Overall highly recommended :)
