One word: amazing! We loved everything about this property and the people. The apartment is new and extremely clean. A lady even came in the middle of our stay to clean and she did a fantastic job! The apartment is comfortable and well equipped and it has a beautiful view of the town and the mountains. So much we liked it that we spent every evening on the balcony with some delicious take away food and a bottle of wine. The host Despoina is the best host we have ever met, and we travel a lot. Not only is she lovely and kind, but she was always available and very quick with any questions and requests we had.
Despoina, if you read this, thank you so, so much for everything! We really liked our stay there and will be back next time we are in Volos.

Excellent hotel value for money. Nicely located 40 mins from Volos and close to other big towns in the mountains. The people running the hotel were extremely nice. Breakfast included in the price which was excellent. If we are around Pelio area in the future will come back again
Right on the central square of Portaria with its shading plane trees, lies the hotel and restaurant Kritsa. It offers romantic rooms, a rich traditional breakfast.

Comfortable first floor room in a historic mansion in Portaria. It is less than 5 minutes' walk to the village centre, which is where a lot of the restaurants, cafes, shops and the bus stop to Volos is located. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were helpful and the hotel has a nice pool for cooling off after hiking.

I recently stayed at the Pillion Resort, and my experience was a mix of positives and a few areas that could use improvement. The resort is situated in a decent location, which provides easy access to local attractions. The grounds are well-maintained, and the natural surroundings are quite pleasant.
The rooms were adequate in size and fairly clean, though they could benefit from some updates to make them feel more modern and comfortable. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the basic amenities were provided, but there was nothing particularly outstanding.
The service was generally polite, but it lacked the warmth and attentiveness that makes a stay memorable. While the staff were helpful when approached, there were a few occasions where more proactive service would have been appreciated.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The accommodation is excellent and has everything a four-member family needs. The kitchen is fully equipped with Miele appliances. Each room has its own air conditioner. All windows and doors have mosquito nets. The accommodation is highly recommended. It is a little far from the main street(5 min wolk)but bwe wanted it for a good night's sleep.
An excellent accommodation: very clean, very spacious for a family of four, equipped with everything necessary. The terrace is great, the parking is on the street, right in front of the house. Our host was very kind and generous. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It will be our first choice when we return to the area.
We had a super pleasant stay for our two families! The host Zoya is an impressively nice person, so responsive, empath and cool! The location is excellent, quite street 50 m from the sea. The property have spacious rooms, with nothing unnecessary. Perfect place for a cool, calm and comfy stay!
All was perfect. House has a perfect location in a calm area. Very clean and equipped with all needed for a family to live there. The owners treated us with exceptional hospitality. On top of it they provided detailed information what could be visited in the area and all we tried worth it 100% - so listen carefully when Sophia gives her little presentation :-). Amazing Villa with a Great garden. Perhaps one of the most enjoyable places we have been to. The house itself is well equipped, beautiful and comfortable , and the owner's ( Kiriaki's ) hospitality was a delight. The garden is huge and safe for kids (we have 3 ) , and the, location is 5 minutes from anything you need. Highly recomnended!
