Met by owner to collect keys - very friendly and helpful. Very well located with secure parking at the rear - good selection of food shops and a couple of decent pubs within 2 mins. House is very clean, warm and well equipped with small courtyard garden to rear ideal for wayward smokers ! Honestly couldn’t fault a thing throughout our stay and owners were friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with

Check in was quick and easy, we felt welcome despite being in a private home and the place was exactly as advertised, just missing the flowers! The room was warm and spacious, nicely decorated, and made us feel very comfortable. And we found it a nice touch to have a fridge in the room, and that even some instant coffee, tea, cereal and milk were provided, in case we wanted to have a quick breakfast before heading out for the day.

St Dunstan House was nothing like its photograph...very scruffy from outside. Not sure it was covid friendly? Microwave outside bedroom door, for general use... Vacuum cleaner left in our room, no bulb in bedside lamp, scruffy paint chipped bed that needed new mattress, noises all night. Had to pay up front, non refundable... No fire safety directions

The owner was helpful in moving furniture so that we could bring an extra mattress for a toddler to sleep on the floor in the other room. The fridge was useful to keep milk for breakfast. The place was clean. Very convenient for the local shops to get breakfast or a takeaway in the evening.

Lots of tea and coffee available plus 2pts of milk in fridge. Fridge came in very useful as it was so warm outside. Shower was fabulous!! Room very clean. Host friendly and check in was easy. Hairdrier, iron also provided and most importantly a bottle opener!! We stayed as visiting family so just needed a place to sleep and it was perfect for that. Very close to station for anyone travelling by train too.
