We were still able to get dinner although we didn't arrive until 8pm , we even had time to freshen up and go back to the restaurant .

The food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast were amazing.
My en suite bathroom was very nice and extremely clean.
All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The room was perfect plenty of space for the children and beds were super comfy 👌 would most definitely be my favourite place to stay here and the price is absolutely 💯 affordable my boys loved it ❤️
Stayed here for two nights whilst attending a family wedding in Worksop. Location is easy to find, and only a few mins into the town by car. The hotel is a satndalone building behind the pub and is very similar in style/facilities to a Travelodge. No shower gel in the room but pub staff found us some; otherwise no issues with the room during our stay. Would stay again if needing reasonably priced functional accommodation in the area.
friendly staff. Super family room with 2 extra single beds - one slightly smaller but perfect for children. Clean rooms. Very quiet despite being near a main road.
4yo and I found the Lock Keeper when we were looking for a cheap half term alternative trip to Centre Parcs (about 80% cheaper before food and activities). Chosen on the basis of having both an outdoor and indoor playground, though alas the outdoor was broken on arrival. Told the child it was called Funland, she was most impressed. Food very good. They put us in disabled suite which was actually v useful for the 4yo. Cleaning staff especially helpful.
great location and good facilities for families, nice to have use of a pool with children, excellent breakfast selection and staff at breakfast went above and beyond our expectations, special mention to the gentleman who served us at breakfast and the gentleman talking to guests at breakfast, lovely friendly bar staff
Great hotel that was very family friendly and a fantastic location for visiting Clumber Park and Sherwood Forest. Fantastic value for money and great breakfast with a choice of hot options for both kids and adults.
The family room was perfectly sized for us (2 adults, 1 toddler) and with a great shower! The rooms were in a separate building from the restaurant and pub, so lovely and quiet. The canal at the rear was very nice for a short walk in the Autumn sunshine. Parking facilities were excellent. There was a good choice of breakfast options, including an excellent (gluten free and veggie) omelette. The children's area in the restaurant was great- lots of hands on toys. Accommodation was a very good price.
