We stayed in the 'Boris' room which is dog friendly and perfectly suited us for our stay with our Boris, the dog. The room was big enough, clean with fresh towels and lovely toiletries. It also had complimentary biscuits and tea/coffee/hot chocolate. It wasn't huge but suited our needs. The breakfast was exceptional and made the stay for us, attention to detail was second to none. We didn't dine at The Haughmond on the evening as the vegetarian selection (I'm a vegetarian, husband had plenty to choose from) was showing just 1 dish which didn't appeal however, we did go for a few drinks in the bar and this was lovely. The village of Upton Magna was lovely and the surrounding areas really nice.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Beautiful gardens, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, very close to the many pubs. shops and takeaways in the village. Was a lovely house for our family get together
The whole room was lovely and the use of the original stable features were nice to see. The owner was exceptionally friendly as was her family and we were greeted by their very well behaved dog which was my personal highlight! The bed was perfect! We slept like logs to the point of forgetting where I was!
Perfect little escape for New Year’s Eve. The grounds and building are stunning. The whole place has a real family run feel to it. The lady on check in kindly put our wine for new year in the fridge when we arrived and later gave us it back in an ice bucket and provided glasses. We also enjoyed a fabulous breakfast in our room at no extra charge. Real sense of luxury for a great price. We are at the Tilly Raven and the food was fabulous. Thank you
Charlotte was exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The house was decorated beautifully with lots of Christmas decorations and a very welcome hamper packed with lots of lovely treats which was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. Perfect stay for a family gathering of 12 and was very well appointed and cleaned to a very high standard. We would certainly recommend Creamore Grove and we would love to return one day. Such a lovely area with lots of lovely walks close by. Shrewsbury town is only a short drive away.
The location was great for visiting family and places of interest.
The breakfast was superb and the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable.
I had a lovely, restful, peaceful stay whilst helping with the archaeological dig on site. The coach-house was spacious and comfortable and so so quiet. I was really welcomed by the family who were helpful and informative despite dealing with a serious family illness. I knew in advance that the restaurant wasn't open so had prepared accordingly. Thank you, it was lovely and just what I needed.
