Exquisite location, ambience and decor. Old with a modern approach. Log fires, attentive staff, clean and quiet rooms. They totally understand special dietary requirements so as a coeliac I had the full choice of the menu but a gluten free version prepared especially by the chef for both breakfast and dinner. The room was a superior, the bed was huge and super comfy, shower and bath in the bathroom and plenty of freebies, cocktails, snacks and suchlike.

Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Lovely and original room, ours had a union jack painted on the wall. It is also at fun/historic location to visit..Also lots of USB charging points in the wall sockets, ( very handy)
For the price I cannot complain. The room was only used to get ready and to get our heads down. We didn't have breakfast included but went for breakfast in the morning and was reasonable. The room was a decent size for me my partner a toddler and baby. At my request a travel cot was provided.
Stayed at the hotel with my wife for the evening, and used the bar/restaurant for breakfast. Both stay and food were as fantastic as ever, we regularly visit Daventry to see family and have always stayed at the Crossroads as we know it gives us fantastic value for money. The hotel rooms may be a little dated, but they are clean, and at the end of the day, you are just using the room to sleep and get washed/changed.
Most staff were really friendly and accommodating in regards our large family and young children which makes a trip easier. Really clean and very friendly staff with cleaning crew.
