A very comfy soft bed, clean room, and the food in the bar area was great. It's a nice pub atmosphere with many locals using it. The location was great as we were going to The Great Tapestry of Scotland in Galashiels. Reported shower head to staff, and they were happy to replace it. A smart tv in the room, not used to this, but if you are, then you will love it. I'd rather be down the bar or going for a walk.

This pub was very deceptive, it’s quite dark downstairs, but after being shown to our room, we were very impressed. Room was lovely. Pub is in a quiet village, so noise levels in the room was very very low. Meals were pub grub but very nice. There wasn’t anything to do around the area, but it’s a great place to stay whilst visiting other areas.

The apartment was fantastic. We'll appointed and spotless and Great value for money. Beautiful walks around the grounds, down by the river and gardens. Kids and our dog loved it! Eleanor and her family were very friendly and welcoming and we had a great time chatting with them. It is a working estate and kids were fascinated watching the machinery from a safe distance, while the dog spent his time keeping his eye on the Pheasents.
