The Villa has an interesting vibe, like you are living in another time, which is spectacular for historical buldings lovers. The hosts are very welcoming and nice to talk to, we also loved their dog which was very friendly. The breakfast was amazing, especially the pancakes and I loved the idea that you can choose out of a list what you want to eat every morning. The location of the Villa is perfect, close to nature, lots of things to see în the surroundings. Also, we enjoyed very much playing board games in the living room, thank you for offering them to the guests.

This enchanting Edwardian country house is home to 5 modern, self-catering apartments, with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Kilchurn suites 1 & 2 are on the top floor of the house, entry to them is through a grand entrance hall with sweeping staircase. Kilchurn Suites 3, 4 & 5 are located in the extension, in the courtyard area of the house. Each suite has their own entrance.

We stayed in the main building, which had wonderful, unique architecture-kind of a cross between a castle and a church. Our apartment was spacious, with well-equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, and laundry room. Our host, Paul, was welcoming, helpful with reservations, and informative. Also, great view of the loch and the castle out our window. We used this location as a base for day trips to St Conan’s Kirk, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Inveraray, Oban, and Glencoe Valley.

Graham, setting, staff, biscuits, individuality, welcome, flexibility, floorboards, pot of coffee on arrival. Just a fun place to stay. But if you're a corporate Marriot loyalty points junkie then maybe go to a different station hotel. 😀

The Shepherds Hut was a great place to stay, very comfortable and clean, ideal for a stopover on the way to the Highlands. It was a lot of fun staying on a railway station and a very welcome cup of tea and biscuits on arrival.

What a wonderful place. Very rustic and quirky, might not be everyone's taste but we loved it. We were made to feel so welcome by the hosts who were so friendly. Who would have thought that sitting on a train platform with a few drinks in pure peace and quiet would be fun. Keep up the great work.

I have slept at a train station before, but in much less salubrious circumstances. Graham is a great host and the rooms, while not spacious, are characterful and functional - writing desks included, plus lots of tea, coffee and treats. It's a unique place to stay.
