The Litton, hotel in Stratton on the Fosse

Boasting a garden and views of garden, The Litton is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Litton, 23 km from Oldfield Park Train Station.

Breakfast was good, however I don’t like cooked breakfast in the morning - so had museli. It would have been nice to have some pastries or bread available on the table.

Fabulous, we were blown away by the welcome. The owner and all the staff and clientele were so friendly- they made us feel like part of the family. It was a Friday and there was a band, seems like locals - all excellent musicians. What a lovely experience.

The landlords had only just taken over the running of the pub and so were not able to offer main meals, however, a very nice breakfast was provided. The family room/beds were comfortable, suited our family well and had everything we needed. The hospitality and friendliness was faultless and we had the most enjoyable welcoming stay. We wish them well with their menu planning and hoping they're up and running with meals soon.
