Beautiful old house set in lovely grounds. Our room (kingsize blue room) was so comfy and cosy. Lovely big windows, bath with a view! Loved the Alpacas. Breakfast quite basic but adequate. Niamh at reception was so funny, really made our night. Jack of all trades……lovely gin & tonic!

Breakfast was good and the dining room in the conservatory is nice and clean, the hotel is very dated and our room (blue room) was quite small but comfortable enough for an overnight stay, when we arrived we were greeted by a lovely young lady called Neave she was very welcoming and funny, nothing was too much trouble, she is an absolute credit not only to the hotel but the hospitality industry as a whole, overall not the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at but would definitely return

Staff were absolutely lovely - breakfast was lovely and fresh each morning & they allowed for variations of the menu. Cupboard full of replenishments and towels/ bedding in the room which made the stay much easier for us with 2 children and a newborn baby.

The family room (The attic) was great for our family. Shame about the ceiling height. The lady who we dealt with on both of our stays was very welcoming, friendly and informative. She provided great restaurant recommendations. The breakfast in the morning was very good and set us up for the day of travelling. The alpacas, fish pond, birds and local playground went down a treat with our toddler
