Incredible hotel. It was clear that from the very top to the very bottom, everyone at this hotel seriously cares about giving the very vest customer experience possible.
The whiskey room was such a classy touch for a hotel in Scotland. I've never seen it before and the girl there was an incredible whiskey host.
Waitressing staff and management too were all amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kirklands, It's a beautiful house, full of character and set in lovely surroundings. Douglas was a wonderful host, very welcoming and happy to share his knowledge of the local area and provide advice on places to visit. Breakfast was delicious and included home grown produce. Owners dealt gracefully with a late check-in which was appreciated. The building is old but very well kept. Bed was comfortable and the room, whilst on the small side, was ample for a short stay.
Earlston itself is a pleasant little village and the larger towns nearby are only a short drive away. Would work well as a base for exploring the surrounding area. I was able to park a large van outside without any difficulty.

Food was nice, however restaurant was empty so little atmosphere so subsequent nights ate elsewhere.
Bed was very comfortable.
