Excellent hotel throughout. We stayed on a "steak night" so it was busy in the bar/restaurant making for a great atmosphere (steak was good also). The room looked newly decorated and was very comfortable with excellent facilities. Staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast really good and freshly cooked. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

A lovely little cottage which was comfortable and had almost everything we could have wanted for a one night stay. The staff were happy for an earlier check in time which was really appreciated as we were at a wedding at Healey barn for 2. The cottage has a comfortable seating area in front of a fire. Bring some wood if you want to use it. A comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and shower and toilet.
The location is great for visiting near by towns like corbridge and hexham and as mentioned we were attending a wedding at Healey so this accom was great for that.

What a wonderful place and owners. The wife and myself enjoyed a couple of nights here and what a treat. If your after getting away from it all, with maybe a walk and a good book then this is the place for you. Everything is on hand and available, so you will want for nothing and can come and go as you please. Was lovely seeing the horses and chickens in the morning after a lovely nights sleep as you sit outside eating breakfast and drinking a morning coffee.....missing it already
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The hotel look fab on arrival. The lady on reception was helpful with our bikes. The room was okay but very basic.
Spa was okay - very much a family centre than spa
Very modern, clean & pleasant caravan in a nice location, hot tub looks lovely but we didn’t use it as had a family wedding & we didn’t have time. Very clear instructions from the owner on gaining access & using the facilities.
Beautiful lodge there was 5 adults and two children (toddler and a baby) and there was plenty of room. Beds very comfy, lovely kitchen and living area and a huge deck.
Loved the woodland walk.
A beautiful location, staff were very helpful chatty and professional, facilities were excellent.
food in bars and restaurant were very nice.
Spar and facilities were great catered for all from small children to adults fantastic.
A great location for visiting attractions in the area. The caravan is perfectly situated in the campsite just opposite the laundrette and bar. The bar offers some nice food and drink. For us the bonus was to be close to the on-site playpark which entertained our toddler. The caravan has plenty of space for the family with a well kitted out kitchen. The beds were comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep.
Great location. Lovely obliging staff. Bonus family fun quiz at night. Excellent food both lunch and dinner. Great selection for evening meal. Continental breakfast more than generous
I brought my three year old daughter for an overnight stay. We had a fantastic time together. Naturally, she adored the pool and it was nice to see other families staying there too. The little touches made the difference such as the kids activity packs and menus.
Good communication with host from point of booking, very clear instructions for check in. Great site including children’s play park, football pitch, pub, and wonderful woodland walk in the surrounding forest. Site shop reasonably priced and stocked with essentials, plus treats for the kids. Beautiful caravan, fully equipped, clean, modern, comfortable, decking area with gate and great location. Great location to go on walks straight from caravan or trip to Derwent reservoir.
