Stayed here with a group of friends. Service was exceptional. Staff member Mackenzie was stellar 💯 It's been a long time since I have been compelled to write a review regarding service while travelling. Mackenzie went above and beyond to look after us and ensure everything about our stay was great. Thank you and hugely appreciated Mackenzie 👏👏❤️
Hotel was excellent. Rooms were lovely. Well appointed. Welcoming. Flasks for fresh milk and radios were a nice touch.
Restaurant and dining experience was faultless. Good menu choice. Lovely food. And again exceptional service from Mackenzie and his colleagues.

Very quirky with it being an old School House. Rooms were clean and tidy. Owners were sociable and a good selection of food for breakfast.

Stayed in the 'shepherds hut' at the bottom of the garden. Quiet, pleasant space, with an effective heater and comfortable bed, fold down table, some plates etc and a lovely bathrobe provided (needed as you have to cross to different parts of the garden to wash or go to toilet). Nice little balcony entrance, up a few wooden stairs. It was cosy for one person but I think it would be too small for two, with little space for bags, hanging clothes, sitting. Other accomms on site were larger. Garden with play area would be great for children. There is a well equipped kitchen in a separate building for self catering.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Lovely stay at The Potting Shed and very convenient for a local wedding. Room had everything we needed, comfy bed, plenty of towels, tea and coffee facilities, bottled water, in such a lovely setting. Made very welcome and the home cooked breakfast was delicious Look forward to returning and highly recommend. Many thanks Matthew and family for a wonderful stay, letting us check in early and all the helpful information.
We thought the breakfast was lovely, homemade and freshly cooked. Matthew, Karin, family and Fleur the dog were very friendly and attentive. We also loved watching the chickens watching us and hoping to be fed at breakfast time.
