The bed was really comfy, and the room was quiet. The restaurant was very welcoming and cosy, it was nice to have a drink there after my meal. The food was really nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The upstairs sitting room with a wonderful view over to the coast. The artwok on the walls. The warm welcome and recommendations of where to go. The well-equipped kitchen. Loads of books.

Beautifully furnished!! Even the sofa bed was a really good quality comfortable one. Would have loved to stay longer but had ferry booked.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The cottage is so well situated for visiting Lewis and Harris, the inside of the house was immaculate and even the exterior was so well looked after, all the beds were comfortable and the garden is massive. I have stayed on the island a few times and this was my first time in the corner cottage but will definitely not be my last. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. Value for money is exceptional and overall great for families/couples Couldn’t fault anything.
It was close to the centre of Stornoway (a short drive) with nice views across the bay. It was clean, comfortable with lots of nice facilities, including a bio/wood pellet stove, and a small garden for the dog to sniff around in. It was excellent value for money for our family of four (a couple and 2 small children plus a dog) but has 3 double bedrooms so we would be amazing value for a bigger party. I was delighted that dogs were welcome.
The property was ideal for our family for the few days we spent sight seeing around the island. The host left us milk, bread and eggs for our arrival as well as tea/coffee/sugar. There was plenty of clean towels, face cloths and shampoo which is always good. There was also dishwasher tablets. Bath robes were useful too. The host was good at communicating
