We liked everything about Cricket Field House.. The welcome we received was warm and welcoming. I had asked if we could have a room downstairs especially if there is no lift . We were kindly given an upgrade . So nice of the hosts . Our room was absolutely beautiful , beds comfortable , breakfast very tasty and there was even Vegemite for our toast ! The secret garden was a delight . The Pembroke Arm hotel was a great recommendation for our dinner .

Perfect for us, quiet and rural feel but within easy reach of Salisbury city centre by foot or by bus from the nearby stop. Managed to do all the city sights and also get out to the New Forest without a car. Great value for money and the cake was divine!
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Surprised by the family setup, but it was delightful. Despite not needing it, bunk beds. They make the world more fun. Went above and beyond to accommodate and be friendly.
We stayed here on the way back from Stonehenge.
It was a wonderful hotel in a very spacious and beautifully maintained area. There were ponies and cows on the grounds, which the small children loved. For dinner, we went to a pub recommended by the owner. I would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely fantastic 👏
Matt and his lovely Family so accommodating and friendly.
Made me feel welcomed during my work commitments stay.
A comfortable bed and a nice view from my bedroom window overlooking the field of cattle (Cows)
I even had the opportunity to hold the Children's pet Guinea pig 😊
Lovely space for a family of 4 - it even has a mezzanine level extra bed which came in handy to split up our tween children. Beautifully kitted out throughout and has all the amenities you could want from self catering accommodation (including things like salt, pepper, sugar, soap etc). Ruth and Calum were very welcoming and responsive.
Great staff; attentive and well-trained. I really enjoyed the breakfast, and the ambience in the bar / lounge area is perfect - especially with the fire burning on a cold winter's evening! We also had a family function on the Saturday - a lunch in the Pembroke Room for 16 people, and the food and service could not have been better. Fantastic - thank you!
Staff were superb finding us a table for dinner in a very busy restaurant.
Family room was excellent- big and comfortable
Kids loved it and the wonky staircases
Location was great. Parking was convenient. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, specious and modern. Stayed with our 3 kids and had a joint room which made it perfect for a family to stay together.
Check in super easy and no fuss. Great facilities and amazing for kids. The mobile home was clean, quiet and had everything a family might need inc high chair and travel cot. Lovely arrival gift and personalised message. The kids really loved it.
The location, right across a park, made it ideal for the children to play outdoors.
The house was very cosy and the number of rooms was perfect for a family.
The kitchen was well equipped and our host left some lollies for the kids since a heat wave was on our way!
