The property is quirky, quaint, comfortable and homely. The host, Patricia, and her family (and the dogs) made us feel very welcome. If we visit Orkney again we would be staying here.

Patricia is an amazing, unflappable and incredibly welcoming hostess and a fantastic cook. The breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious with lots of options. Her dogs are sweet, friendly and great fun. Scorrabrae is a well-positioned B&B with additional self-catering facilities, which was exactly what we needed as a family. Once a pub, the historic building has immense charm and character, and a great view over Scapa Flow from all the bedrooms. The beds were comfy and the heating worked well. Would love to go back

Patricia is a great host. From the moment we entered the property, we were made to feel very much at home and more like family than guests. The room was very comfortable and cosy (Patricia had very thoughtfully placed some electric blankets in the room as the weather was wet and damp). Good variety for breakfast, we had the freshest eggs (picked every morning from the barn) and the best tea and coffee of our trip ar Scorrabrae. We would definitely recommend Scorrabrae to anyone visiting Orkney.

This was a well-placed location for all our visiting. The property is unusual but is very friendly and comfortable with the benefit of a nice place to sit by the wood stove in the evening. Patricia is great company and we were made very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Some aspects of the building are a work in progress but everything was as described on Booking.com. If you want smart, shiny and impersonal go somewhere else. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Patricia was very nice an accommodating. The breakfast was GREAT! The property is the family home and seems to have been a pub, it's got a lot of character. Some of the curtains looks a bit stuffy.
