They were so friendly and helpful. When the power went out on the street they made sure they came and gave us an update. They also replied to a maintenance request quickly. The cottage had a wonderful view.

Situated on the picturesque Isle of Raasay, a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal, newly refurbished in 2013 Raasay House Hotel is nestled in a Georgian mansion with beautifully landscaped lawns. Boasting views across the Sound of Raasay to the Cuillin Mountains of Skye, the mansion offers luxury accommodation with free Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar, a café, and a restaurant.

This place is amazing! The food, staff, location, all the cute animals, everything. Even the staff working on the ferry are extremely kind. If you go there, (which you should) go explore the island and its hikes.

This 3 bedroom apartment in Portree has spectacular views from almost every room as well as a romantic harbour setting. It is Decorated in a boutique retro style with an eclectic mix of furnishings accessories.

This home was AMAZING! Beautiful view, wonderfully decorated! I loved sitting by the window drinking my coffee in the morning while watching the boats in the harbor. The kitchen was super charming and well stocked. We appreciated all the treats and goodies!!! It was psrticularly convenient to have the clothes dryer. The bathrooms were great, especially the one with the heated floor and giant soaking tub - perfect for cooler early mornings or after a day hiking. The beds were like sinking into a cloud. It fit our family of five perfectly. One if my favorite stays ever!

Set in a converted cluster of fisherman’s houses along Portree Harbour the hotel offers plenty of character and quirks. There are 17 en-suite bedrooms with all expected facilities.

Due to the nature of the building there is no lift and rooms are only accessible via stairs. We do not provide porterage, and the hotel is on the pier itself so there is a walk up some stairs or a hill to get into the town area.

Exceeded expectations - staff very friendly and helpful.

On the stunning Isle of Skye, with great views over Portree Harbour and the loch, The Royal Hotel has 2 restaurants specialising in local seafood dishes. The majority of its rooms offer sea views.

The en suite rooms at The Royal Hotel have tea and coffee-making facilities, as well as maps and information on the local area.

Large room in a great location - we could not have asked for a better spot in Portree. Additionally, we had an amazing view and were able to get in for dinner the night we arrived and it was very delicious. This hotel is right off the water and there are 3 car parks within 100 yards, one of which is completely free if you can get a spot, the others are free after 6pm-8am (you will likely be driving around exploring anyway, so that was not an issue for us!). The staff was helpful.
