Unfortunately I chose a weekend when the host was not providing breakfast but the well fitted kitchen and dining room were available for guests to use and I was warned in advance. The parking in front of the house was very welcome as it was close to guest accommodation.
Location was excellent for centre of Dingwall and Davidson museum which was reason for my visit.

The staff at Coul House go out of their way to make you feel special and welcomed. The room was quiet, clean and had restful comfy beds. Enjoyed a very tasty two course meal and enjoyed the fire side chairs in the bar. Lovely one night stay.

No breakfast but so found same close by in the old colin urquharts now called something like on the corner . The breakfast was wonderful and so can recommend . A place of my home and staying at the Gabbler was so wonderful. Have stayed at other two hotels in the village and for me this was so the best experience . So missed the chance to have the night in the restaurant below over my two days and I so would have done this . I am a story teller and to hear another tell a story is for me everything . Could I recommend it more well just know my next trip up this is the only place I will stay . I just loved it . Okay the Sutherland room my choice for next time . All rooms lovely but I just felt I needed a little extra room . Thats a side issue for were I stayed in the what was it called in the top of the house was just so lovely I was spoilt . Okay you have to turn on everything yourself , shower you need to click a switch but the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was just wonderful . Bravo , to come home to my place of home and find this wonderful place. Next time I will do the restaurant downstairs . Ronald Xx

A big wow to the lodge !!!
Everything was perfect , the place was very clean.
Everything was prepared for us before our arrival .
When you are entering the place it's like you are atr home.
The shower is very good , hot but you just need to find the right temperature.
The kitchen is very useful , easy to find anything that you need for.
The bedrooms are big enough and very quiet.
Lots of space to put your clothes.
The place is very well maintained
The most important part is the quietness of the place , no noise , no plane, no car ect...
If you want to relax it's the PERFECT PLACE !!!
You can walk around if you like nature , forest ...
The next village Beauly is at 10 min drive very useful ...
It was the perfect holiday
Thank you Ed we will definitely come back

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Plenty of space - we had booked the family suite and another double room for 5 adults plus one dog. We also made use of the kitchen and the lounge. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable - would recommend.
Affordable hotel, really good location - my partner and I were going to a nearby party so the hotel was great for one night or so. Not bad for the price!
The property was in a beautiful, peaceful location.
Linda was extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. The room was exceptionally clean with crisp white sheets and the room was more than ample for my family of 4 and the luggage that comes with having teenage children! Breakfast was preordered and did not disappoint. The beautiful crockery and the attention to detail made all the difference. I would absolutely stay again and was disappointed to only have stayed one night.
Stuart the host met us when we arrived and helped take our bags to our room. He was very friendly and described everything in the room that we needed to know. Accommodation was huge with two bedrooms both of a good size, very large living area, fully stocked kitchen including a washing machine. Bathroom was big and clean. Location was very good and we drove to Ullapool from there. We even loved their cat Goldie who came to visit us.
Clean, comfortable separate rooms in a family room with good facilities , off-road parking. Owner had clearly thought about what travellers would want. Fridge in the room. Nice bathroom, bit ‘cosy’ but fine
Excellent location for us visiting family. Morag is always very helpful and keeps the place spotless. The lounge area with a fridge is very useful and comfortable.
Stayed one night before heading to ferry at Ullapool the next day and was in ideal location for this. We had a lovely drive there the next day. We booked the family suite which was very spacious and with a separate bedroom and dog friendly! The rooms were very clean and well kitted out with microwave , plates and cutlery which we didnt use but handy to have if needed. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. The nearby co-op was useful for breakfast in morning. Very good value.
The house is very cozy, the kitchen is fully equipped and functional. The surrounding is beautiful and well maintained by Andrew.
We loved our time there and would have loved to stay longer!
