The Hartford Hall on School Lane Hotel is a former 17th century nunnery and manor house in the small market town of Northwich. Set within 3 acres of countryside, it offers a pub restaurant.

You'd think it was a family business for how its run. Staff really welcoming friendly and massively helpful. As in really helpful, everyone one of them. Food was great, the room spacious, comfortable with a luxurious bed and large bathroom. I had made a cock-up on my booking (wrong date) but they sorted it out when really they didn't really have to - will always be grateful for that. In essence I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the place, the people, the room, everything - and they also have free parking!

The shopping village, cafe, playground and mini golf made it a perfect fit for myself and my son to stay, gave us things to do to waste some spare time we had. The staff were all wonderfully helpful! Lunch was a little overpriced (kids meal, panini, fruit shoot & coke nearly £20)

Comfortable bed. Nice shower. It may be nice for people with children because there is a play area and there are tortoises and snakes in the shopping area huts. Nice looking cakes.

Excellent value for money nice clean room, little strange our private bathroom was across from our room but we did have locks on it so only us could use it. The breakfast was brilliant. The b&b is situated within a small out of town shopping centre and family friendly crazy golf. The cafe is excellent with a wide range of specialty foods as well as the usual tea/coffe and cakes selection.
