Lovely stay, staff were very friendly and the rooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend this place to any travellers through Winchester.
A charming, cosy English pub, serving locally sourced produce on its modern British menu, and a selection of ales, fine wines, and seasonal cocktails in the bar.

Location was great, just outside Winchester in a quiet countryside location. The breakfast was huge and of good quality, allowing the choosing of options from the full english breakfast, also having a vegetarian option. British food at the pub was of good quality.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Family run, friendly and considerate of a lone traveller arriving late in a rain storm. Happy to provide a very good late supper and a comfortable bed. The hooting owls at night were a bonus. Breakfast was included in the room price and I wish I had a larger appetite, the chefs were good. All in all a happy experience in a working pub that cares for its customers.
We had a great stay at Mulberry barn. Comfortable room and bed with the bathroom across the corridor. Beautiful house and setting, felt like you were staying with family. Laura and her husband were very nice, allowed us to check in early as we were going to a wedding and cooked up an excellent breakfast. Highly recommend!
We stayed as a family of 3 adults in two double rooms. They were spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening, and the food was delicious and freshly cooked, as was the breakfast in the morning. The staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we wanted.
Laura was extremely accommodating for our family of 7 adults & one baby during our 2 night stay while we attended a wedding in the local area. From the gluten free breakfast options to a late check out due to a napping baby, no request of ours was an issue. Beds are luxurious, gardens & house absolutely stunning, breakfast had no fault. Laura & her husband have created a fabulous tranquil home which is very welcoming & are excellent hosts.
The Barn is beautifully appointed and our room was perfect, with access to our own shower room. The downstairs breakfast room was light and airy and the breakfast was lovely. The whole family including Poppy the dog were charming.
