This is a great b&b, with really lovely hosts. It has plenty of off road parking and is just a few minutes walk from Lymington High Street.
Our room was extremely comfortable and a very good size, with a big wet room style bathroom. Breakfast was exceptional. We would definitely stay again.
Harford en-suite Rooms is situated on the southern edge of the New Forest National Park, in the Georgian town of Lymington. Sailing, forest walks and cycling are popular activities in the area.

Outstanding attention to detail; everything in the room had been wonderfully thought out. The use of space was very impressive but it was the details that impressed us most; jars of cereals, a toaster, jam and marmalade, fresh milk and orange juice, Netflix, blackout blinds....and chocolate mints! Yvonne and Paul were most attentive and conscientious hosts, we really hope to be staying again soon.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
A fun alternative place to stay for two nights. Good space for family of four with amazing views across the Solent. Hotel quality on-land facilities and restaurant.
The outside area was a great size and so well equipped for families. The friendly horse in the backfield absolutely made if for us.
The glamping room was a big hit with the kids for nighttime stargazing and toasted marshmallows in the fire pit.
Location was perfect for venturing in to the New forest.
Kitchen has everything that was needed and very well equipped.
Beds were comfortable and cottage was extremely child friendly.
Plenty of parking space
We loved everything about Lilac Cottage, the tasteful and modern furniture, the amazing kitchen and bathrooms, the cleanliness, quite simply everything. The house was spotlessly clean and Charles even provided us with some food basics. Thank you so much for that! The house is perfect for families, there are even boardgames and a Wii to keep the children entertained. 2 supermarkets are just around the corner, as well as an affordable fish and chip shop.
We have been before, so second visit which says a lot. Good location for us as only 90 minutes. New Forest is beautiful, Lymington is beautiful. Hotel is in a great location and the facilities make the hotel stand out. Child friendly, in a world where there are less and less good quality family hotels.
