We stayed at this Pod during our Hebridean Way cycling tour, and it couldn't have been better! The pod was incredibly cosy, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed, and more, was thoughtfully provided, from kitchen essentials to the smallest details, all perfectly stored and organized.
The bed was extremely comfortable, offering a restful night’s sleep after a long day of cycling. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket filled with bread, milk, eggs, coffee, tea, and other thoughtful touches—a real treat! Communication with Amanda, the host, was first-class.
The location is stunning, and the beach is just a short walk away.

A small pod-type chalet in the garden of the house. Small but well-designed to maximise use of the space. Small seating area, small table, kitchen area with microwave and hot plates, well equipped with utensils, pans and plates. Separate shower room and bedroom. Was more comfortable than we had anticipated. Bed comfortable. Seats and a table outside. Lovely location just on the edge of the machair. Quick walk to the beach and 15 minute walk to hotel and supermarket. Lovely hosts.

The property was cosy and warm; it was well equipped and fully stocked and had everything we needed. We appreciated everything it had and enjoyed our stay very much.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Rupert is one of the nicest, funniest and most welcoming host we have ever met on our travels.
The rooms are cosy, very well equipped, the house is decorated with love of detail, and the breakfast is amazing (specially the coffee-roast). Ask him for any travel-tips and he can make the most out of your visit to the Outer Hebrides. Follow his recommendations on the best restaurants or pubs. He knows a lot about the Island's wild-life and the best places to spot it, too. This really is an exceptionally nice place to stay.
Very short stay on Uist with the motor-bike. Andy was a great and helpful host, I would have missed the ferry without him. Stayed in for the evening with a beer and the other 2 guests which was very funny. It's a long ride from Munich but hopefully I will return. Cheers, Oliver ... PS the room was inexpensive. All cool!
