Staff were very friendly and the facilities where clean
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Really excellent food and lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble.
We had a family dinner there for 8 the first night and that was superb.
Very well kept property. Spotless everywhere.
We live in Kent and have family in Scotland we regularly visit and this was our first time at this hotel. Really good value for money and lovely food. Breakfast was excellent! Some parts of the hotel were in need of a fresh lick of paint but considering it’s an old building it was very well kept. Our room was very clean however the carpet on the stairways were in need of a Hoover but there was some work going on in one of the rooms which may have been why.
Overall we would most definitely book this hotel again.
Warm welcome, shown to our room, comfy bed, staff attentive, but not overly so. Breakfast was tasty, my son called in and he was able to eat my breakfast, as I only have tea. All in all we feel we've found our place to stay when we visit family who live in Lennoxtown.
Great location for visiting family with excellent views across the loch towards the city. The lodge was well equipped and had everything that we needed for our short stay. The owners were very helpful and we were met on arrival and shown around.
My family stay in the area so this is our new go to hotel for family visits.
The room was so clean and fresh, they rang before hand to check the beds required in the family room - so very helpful.
Paul and all the staff were fantastic and couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was lovely too!
We were visiting family nearby for Christmas and we had our dog with us so the Glazert was perfect for us.
All the staff were very welcoming, the room turn around service was excellent and, despite us giving no advance notice, we were treated to substantial veggie breakfasts each morning of our stay.
We would be happy to return to the Glazert and can recommend to anyone visiting the Campsie Hills, especially if you have a dog with you.
