Beautiful warm and inviting property. Fully furnished and very well equipped to the point that we didn’t want for anything at all. Secure parking on-site (no charge).
The host Stewart was extremely helpful and a great communicator, and went above and beyond to arrange an early check in due to our early flight arrival. Stewart was there on our arrival to welcome us and to give us the tour, and very kindly invited us to help ourselves to the food and refreshments on hand.

Location was perfect as I was trying to find a firework free place as my dog is terrified of them. Couldn’t believe how much they welcomed dogs, they even allow them in the breakfast area which is great, not many places allow that, they should include that in their package as it’s a big plus

Room clean and bed comfortable. Excellent value for price. Breakfast was good.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
I went with my 5 children aged between 13 and 6. We had the best time there.
Kids made friends with the other cabins.
There's a unit for playing pool and table tennis.
We spent our 3 days there it was so relaxing and peaceful.
Definitely recommend it
We stayed 5 adults in a big family room. It was very nice and clean with a great bathroom. The Staff was very friendly. There were a big free parking lot behind the Hotel. The Restaurant at the Hotel is really good with a large menu. We went to the restaurant for both the evenings we stayed. We loved our stay. It was extremely good value for money.
Location is peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
Hottub is lush, cabins and outdoor area is ideal. Cabin has everything you need and is cosy.
Large safe inclosed area for kids to play outside
Highly recommend these cabins.😊😍
We checked in but didn't stay so cant give this a fair rating as we didnt sleep in the bed or eat any breakfast. I think if you were attending a function at the hotel it would be a good base to stay.
The reception and departure were simple. The receptionist went out of her way to explain all aspects of my stay and also showed me to my room. The room was exactly as described with a lovely view of the canal outside. It was a busy hotel but really quiet, which made for a perfect night's sleep. I ate in the restaurant twice and the food was top quality. The highlight of my time there was the absolute courtesy and politeness of every member of staff. They should be commended just for this.
We stayed at a family room for 6 nights, which was spacious and clean. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food (breakfast and dinners) were sensational, the potions were generous. No wonder the restaurant was always packed. The overall stay was comfortable and cozy. I really regret not booking to stay longer. Will definitely re-visit.
Location perfect . Made to feel welcome by staff in hotel. In restaurant spacious surroundings delicious extensive menu. Range of alcoholic non alcoholic drinks, enjoyed special prosecco Cocktail!! . Breakfast had number if choices to suit different appetites. Good family establishment who cater for children and wel behaved dogs.
Comfortable surroundings in room quite stylish. Fine aromatic therapy products in made in Scotland of course. Views out onto water, boats and hillside scenery.
