Every room has a flat-screen TV. Some units feature a seating area for your convenience. Enjoy a cup of tea while looking out at the sea or garden. All rooms have a private bathroom. Extras include free toiletries and a hairdryer.

We picked this establishment because it was the only one that had rooms for those of us that are disabled (first floor). The inn is remote but is in a beautiful setting. We stayed in a slightly remote house which we really loved. Large windows in the living area looking over the rocky seashore made for a serene morning coffee scene. We also really enjoyed the 5 course meal served in the restaurant in the lighthouse.

Fantastic position at front of site with views across the loch. Great communication before and during stay from owner. Caravan was cosy, clean and very well equipped for a comfortable family stay. Really appreciated the extras like kids bedding, toys, games, PlayStation and dvds and books for kids and adults. The decking area is lovely and we enjoyed using the on site pool and soft play.

Would definitely stay again before our ferry. Left a daughter’s mobile and they contacted us promptly before we even realised. Perfect location for early morning ferry. Shower was amazing!!! Staff so friendly.

The caravan was very comfortable and well-equipped and was a really good value alternative to staying in a hotel. The campsite facilities for children were absolutely brilliant with a huge indoor softplay and two outdoor playgrounds. We were too early in the season for the campsite pool but there is a great leisure pool nearby in Stranraer.

The van was absolutely amazing in a perfect location in the park. I was travelling with two Autistic children who both really enjoyed the spacious van and extra security of the closed decking area was fantastic. We visited the Duck or Grouse and were welcomed, lovely friendly staff. Would love to book again for later in the year but unfortunately can't book any more than two nights at a time.

The location is amazing - the caravan looks right over to Stranraer. The swimming pool area is great in the fact you get it to yourself so the kids can play about and not bother anyone with their splashing and play The pub is friendly and food is delicious, really reasonable The caravan itself is spacious and the outside decking area is great for sitting in and gives added space

The property was as described and magical. Stunning scenery, well signposted, well kept and bright inside. The room was tidy and clean and as described though small. Only downside was poor water pressure meant I couldn’t have a shower when someone else was. The owners and staff were absolutely lovely - nothing was too much bother and they went over and above. The food was great- so good we had the 5-course taster menu twice in our stay.

We (5 adults and 4 children) stayed in lodge 1. The accommodation was spacious, tastefully decorated, warm, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. The views from every window in the house were spectacular. The host family were friendly and helpful, and they provided a very generous welcome pack. We look forward to visiting another time soon.
