Looking at the pictures we were expecting a lot and we got even more ! This place is absolutely gorgeous, the day we arrived was pretty sunny, we went directly for a walk around and what a view ! If you are looking to go for trails in Skye (Old man of Storr, Quiraing, Neist point etc) this cottage is perfectly positioned and you won't have to drive much to reach the start of the trail. The cottage itself was very nice and comfy and having a washing machine and a dryer when you're going for a trail every day was a must have.

Stunning view from this cozy little B&B. We had a loch view room (a generous & thoughtful upgrade from the hosts) that slept two people comfortably. The common area was cozy and tidy. The breakfasts were great and we appreciated a full meal before setting out for the day to explore the beautiful Isle of Skye. Convenient location, less than ten minutes into Portree. Easy self check in process. Just like the pictures. The hosts are kind and helpful.

A cozy cottage with Isle of Skye character and decor and the rural farm location was a beautiful and relaxing place to spend our days. We were surrounded by green farmland, with sheep, and rabbits and an ever changing sky. The cottage was well equipped. We would love to go back and stay for a week.

The views are gorgeous! Beds are comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. House warm and cosy. Eclectic farm house furniture adds to the charm. Lots of space for kids to run and a lovely walk down to the beach. Friendly farmer neighbours and dogs, rabbits, sheep and cows to say hello to. We loved our 5 nights here!

Location was excellent with Portree being not too far away and an incredibly gorgeous view! Fairy pools and Dunvegan castle and numerous brochs are all close by making this a great place to stay-ACE target sports are again close by and Axe throwing as we did on the trip back to Fife is a must! Neighbours were friendly 😃 human and animal! The layout and the property was fabulous we enjoyed family dinners at the huge table and we did not want for anything in the house. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again when back on Skye.

Corran House is 15 minutes from Portree and in an excellent location for exploring the north of Skye. We were in the family room which had a double and a single bed. The room was very comfortable but the two beds made it a bit cramped. The continental breakfast had a good variety. All in all, Corran House is great place to stay on Skye.

We loved our stay here, the room was spacious, very clean and made us feel at home. The views were stunning and the location was perfect; super easy to get around. We didn't get the opportunity to meet the staff / host due to us being out most of the time, but they were very welcoming and accommodating by leaving notes and easy to follow instructions on everything. We would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Breakfast was excellent, delicious-fresh fruit, pancakes, porridge, full Scottish, etc-everyone could choose their own options. Even kids were pleased! The owner Margaret made us feel very welcome from the start. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. COVID-19 measures are in place with screen separators in the dining area.Definitely recommend!

Property is in a gorgeous location, stunning views. Very comfortable beds. We liked the history of the house and the fact it was built by the owners Grandfather 100 years ago. Some of the original features were really nice and all the old photos etc nice to look at. Neighbours very friendly and my children loved meeting the sheep Kenny.

The Breakfast we had was quite possibly the best Breakfast you could wish for in such a brilliant and beautiful location delicious ! Margaret was such a fantastic and friendly host, her house is immaculate and not to be missed for a stay on such a unique and magnificent island. One of the B&B's we booked in Kyleakin aught to take a leaf out of Margaret's book for how to look after guests and provide suitable accommodation at affordable and reasonable prices. Thanks so much Margaret it was wonderful xx we'll be back !!
