Amazing little bolt hole which is perfectly situated. You only have to walk out the door to find some picturesque walks and it is only a few miles drive to the local beaches. A quiet place to escape which was exactly what we needed. Just a shame we couldn't stay longer! Janice and her family made us feel very welcome and at home. Everything is as described and the freshly cut flowers, bottle of wine and other goodies were an unexpected treat - thank you.

The location was central and a short walk from local cafes and restaurants which was handy during our stay. The bungalow was very well maintained, immaculately clean and had all the basic necessities that one would require during a family stay with kids. The views were beautiful too and the gardens were open with enough space for kids to play. Felt like being at a home away from home.

The large apartment was perfect for our family of three, and could comfortably accommodate a family of four/five. What really sets the property apart is the location, which is wonderfully secluded and set in lovely grounds, with great walks on its doorstep - Halwell Woods, for example. There are lots of places for children to roam and explore safely, and it’s central location near Kingsbridge makes travelling around Devon very easy.

We had a family room with the children’s room upstairs. It was very comfortable. We had access to the beautiful garden which has a lovely shallow stream running through. There were lots of games and a TV available to the children in their room with lots of books for children and grown ups. The cooked breakfast was fabulous along with fresh fruit and a multitude of cereals to choose from. The property is within easy reach of lots of little coves and beaches . The sea water here is crystal clear. A very beautiful unspoilt part of the world.
